Australian federal election, 2016

This page lists my posts on the 2016 election. The Senate preferences will form the richest public electoral dataset in Australian history – a list of all formal votes (with their polling places), most of them showing preferences for 6 parties. There'll be a lot to pick apart.

• Above-the-line preference explorers, with tables:

• ATL scatterplots: a subset of the above explorers with 3D scatters.
• Informals etc.: Informal rates (House and Senate), above-the-line percentages, ATL votes with ticks and crosses; tables and maps.
• Political spaces: Using ATL votes to try to make a diagram of where parties are ideologically (PCA and force-directed graphs).
